Envirolab Services was formed in 2005 through aquisition of JET Laboratories in Willoughby in Sydney. The JET Laboratories was owned by David Johnson and the late Ted Johnson. The JET Laboratories first commenced  its operations in 1987 and specialised in organics testing. The JET Laboratories provided an excellent platform for Envirolab to further expand the capabilities to include testing for metals, asbestos, acid sulphate soils and nutrients.

In 2008, the laboratory was relocated to a modern, high-tech purpose built laboratory in Chatswood, Sydney. Our state-of-the-art equipment allows us to streamline sample flow through the lab to increase productivity, project efficiency and provide high quality data per your specific requirements. In addition the new premises provide an excellent working environment for our staff.

In 2012, the Sydney lab has 70 staff who are comitted to providing your results on time in a standardised, user friendly format.  The laboarotory now offers a diverse range of tests to cover organics, inorganics, metals, nutrients, acid sulfate soils, workplace hazards, asbestos testing, air toxics and emissions.
